Rubber Hex Dumbbells, Pair, 4, 5 or 10 kg
Part of the APA Pure Living Active Lifestyle Collection — sturdy pieces for real homes and real routines. A pair of hex dumbbells with a steel core and a rubber coating: the six-sided heads stop them rolling under the sofa, and the rubber is kinder to floors than bare iron. Pick the pair that suits your training, 2 × 4 kg, 2 × 5 kg or 2 × 10 kg.
Dumbbells are the most useful thing in a home gym: presses, rows, lunges, curls and carries, all from one pair. The 12.8 cm handle fits most hands, and the hex shape means they sit still on the floor for renegade rows and push-ups. Add another pair when you outgrow the first.
Steel and rubber, sturdy, honest materials that stand up to daily use. Wipe them down after a session and they will last for years.
