Weight-Activated USB Mug Warmer Coaster
Part of the APA Pure Living Tea, Coffee & Beverage Prep Collection — for the cups of the day that deserve a little ceremony. A weight-activated coaster that keeps a mug warm at about 55 °C and stops heating as soon as you lift it. It works with ceramic, porcelain, stainless steel and glass mugs and runs from a USB cable, so it sits happily on a desk.
For anyone who makes a cup of tea, gets absorbed in something and finds it cold twenty minutes later. Set the mug down and the coaster warms; pick it up and it rests. At 15.6 × 11.5 × 2.5 cm it takes up little more room than an ordinary coaster.
Flat-bottomed mugs give the best contact. A small, quiet comfort for a home office or a bedside table.
